A huge thanks to Carol and the team at Light Up A Life Project for another donation. The latest is to allow the purchase and installation of solar power in the dormitories. LUALP consistently keeps in touch with Sunbeam and identifies really high value projects. Others have included the Fish Farm and the brick making machine that made the building programme affordable.

Our first donor, Steven Cairns has just visited for a week. He came bearing gifts of books, toys and clothing from fifteen different people in Australia. The teachers and staff were overjoyed and are now busily sorting the donations. He did a comprehensive review of accountabilities and governance.

Though we are still dealing with the sadness of the death of one of our Women of Hope, Flora, it gives us great relief that one of our donors (Joyce) has been able to find a sponsor for Flora's youngest son. He will start school in a nearby boarding school next week. Although he has lost his both his mother and father, his future is now secure for the foreseeable future. We offer our thanks to both Joyce and her friend for changing a little boy's destiny.
