The Sunbeam Project

We give great thanks and acknowledgement to the board of HAMILTON-WENTWORTH CATHOLIC DISTRICT for the generous donation to The Sunbeam Project. With your love and kindness we were able to purchase land to build the school and later an orphanage. On top of this you gave our pupils clothes and sandals worth $2,000. We cannot forget to acknowledge the money donated to purchase goats for the Women of Hope and to start building. Acknowledgement goes to Nancy Digregorio, Antonnieta Parrisse, Lupinda Walliams, Sabrina Digregorio, Dalia Spiullo, Patricia Jordan, Ivanaa Ignazio and everyone who contributed to this cause. This is an American charity is dedicated to providing educational support and life skills to impoverished communities throughout Africa. The Sunbeam Project is a grateful beneficiary of support from LUALP.

Care and Hope Through Adoption and Technology is an extraordinary Canadian charity that is linking classrooms in Canada and Uganda through Skype. The singing and cultural exchanges are mutually beneficial and the fund raising for the orphanage that they support in Kiihihi, Uganda is inspirational.

Based in the east of Uganda, this Community-based Organisation was started by a group of farmers dedicated to lifting rural communities out of poverty by devising and promoting self-help initiatives. We at Sunbeam are inspired by their work and share their commitment to the future of our children and our respective communities.
